The WWE world heavyweight championship scenario is very well built with a strong storyline, as of now. The anticipation and the stakes are even higher since the former Bullet Club members Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson has got into the mix to make the storyline more intriguing.
The first pay-per-view WWE Payback following Wrestlemania will happen on Sunday and the matchups are certainly interesting this year and it promises to be one of the most anticipated nights of the year. There are a lot going on with the conclusion of the WWE championship match since it is booked brilliantly. There are plenty of chances that Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson would interfere in between the match but the question is will they eventually favor AJ Styles to win the match or cost the match? Some also think that WWE is finally going to make Reigns heel turn happen in this event.
But according to the rumors, WWE is waiting for a major twist at the end of the night. Reports from SEscoops.com suggests, that sources have confirmed that WWE is intending to debut the former WWE NXT champion Finn Balor in the main roster at Payback. It is also rumored that Luke Gallows and Anderson will attack not Reigns but Styles handing Reigns the win via disqualification.
Considering that the championship belt does not change hand via disqualification, Reigns will not lose the championship and also Styles will not have to get pinned by Reigns. But, if Balor’s debut does really happen, his be-siding will decide Reigns’ heel turn. As of now, it is still not decided on which side Balor will debut. The good thing is that whatever decision WWE is going make, nothing really can go wrong with it as the plot is brilliantly built. Moreover, just think of the Chicago crowd’s reaction after Balor’s debut.
