A rare episode of WWE RAW is waiting, this week where Roman Reigns will make an appearance with his cousins and his Special Counsel. The Queen will visit Alexa’s Playground while the Women’s Tag Tag Team Titles will also be on the line. Plus, Jeff Hardy gets an opportunity to be inserted into the US Title picture on the show that takes place at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The Bloodline faction from SmackDown won’t be visiting the quick WWE tour to the United Kingdom, this week. Rather, WWE has announced during this past Friday night that SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will be on WWE RAW to face The New Day – WWE Champion Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods in a huge tag team match.
WWE Champion Big E made his final SmackDown appearance on last week’s show as he’s become an official WWE RAW Superstar following his Money In The Bank cash-in. He and Finn Balor teamed up to pick up a non-title win over The Usos which also earned these two a future title shot.
Then, Big E was talking with Paul Heyman when The Usos suddenly attacked him and beat him all around the backstage area. They taunted E as he was down, advising him to go back to WWE RAW. Reigns was also seen standing by who walked away as The Usos followed him to set up the match for this week’s show.
Meanwhile, this will also be E’s first appearance on the red brand following the title win from last week. Hence, he is all set to throw a championship celebration with his New Day colleagues.
WWE Extreme Rules 2021: Champions Are Favorite To Retain
Over on WWE Raw, a title match will also go down with Rhea Ripley and Nikki Cross A.S.H. challenging WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Natalya and Tamina Snuka. A couple of weeks ago, Ripley and Nikki picked up a win over the champions to become new contenders while they have also secured singles wins over the champions.

Jeff Hardy vs. Sheamus has also been announced for the show with Extreme Rules implications attached to it. If Hardy can manage to pick up the win, then he will be added to Sheamus vs. Damian Priest at Extreme Rules for the United States Championship to make it a Triple Threat. Sheamus previously defeated Drew McIntyre to capture the number-one contender’s spot to the US title-holder Damian Priest.

WWE RAW will also feature Alexa’s Playground segment as Alexa Bliss and Lilly will welcome RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. This happens just three days before their scheduled title match at Extreme Rules. Last week, Bliss gifted Flair a Charlie doll but it was thrown away to Bliss’ dismay.
Speaking of this segment, Charlotte Flair defeated Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler on two consecutive weeks. On both occasions, Baszler and Jax cost each other, the respective matches. Following the betrayal, these two former tag team champions were obviously on a collision course. Now, they are booked to compete on this WWE Raw go-home edition for Extreme Rules.
