Indian star batsman Yuvraj Singh was dismissed hit-wicket in today’s IPL match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Visakhapatnam.
Returning from the injury, Yuvraj not made happy to his fans in the previous game with his batting. He only scored 5 runs in the previous match against Gujarat Lions. So, today’s match was very important for Yuvraj Singh.
Yuvraj played very well in the match as he scored 39 runs (23 balls) in the match before getting out in an awkward style. Yuvraj hit 3 fours and 2 sixes in his innings which helped his team SRH to put a good total of 177/3 on the board.
Yuvraj Singh was dismissed hit wicket in the very last over of the innings. It was the full and wide delivery from the MI left-arm pacer Mitchell McClenaghan which was Yuvraj decided to leave at the very last moment as his bat hit on the stumps accidentally. Yuvraj Singh was very disappointed for this kind of awkward dismissal. However Yuvraj did a great cameo role in that innings while SRH opener Shikhar Dhawan remained unbeaten at 82 runs in 57 balls.
Yuvraj became fifth batsman to be dismissed hit wicket in IPL history and it was Yuvraj’s 100th match in his IPL career.
