AEW – Bryan Danielson Says He Will Not Be Doing “Yes” Chants In AEW
The chants of Ric Flair and Jim Duggan are highly regarded but they are never as famous as the ‘What’ and ‘Yes’ chants. Flair and Duggan’s chants are only chanted by the fans while these two individuals are in stage whereas ‘What’ and ‘Yes’ are used in almost every occasion.
Another recent chant that has become famous is the ‘Who’ chants introduced by the New Day. This new chant is equally famous as ‘What’ and ‘Yes’ But these chants are mostly used WWE proving how much the wrestlers are connected with the fans. It is not easy for any promotion to get so much connected with the fans WWE has always been.

Bryan Danielson in the All Elite Wrestling recently spoke to “Rasslin” podcast with Brandon Walker where he talked about his famous “Yes” chants and he said that he would not be doing the chants in the AEW. He also revealed why he would not be doing that. He said;
“I’m not doing it myself because I respect WWE’s intellectual property. I don’t think anything legally, they haven’t threatened anything legally. So I had a great conversation with Kevin Dunn with WWE before I debuted with AEW.

“I was very upfront with WWE about, ‘Okay, I want to let you guys know I’m leaving. This is my debut date’ and all that kind of stuff. They asked me, politely, to respect their intellectual property, even some of the things that couldn’t be legally enforced. I’m trying my best to do that.”
