After being let go from her WWE contract, Chelsea Green continues to find a foothold around the indie circuit by performing in a number of promotions. She made her return to the ring at Impact Wrestling in July 2021 and since then competed in quite a few matches until the latest bygone special event hosted by the promotion.
Per the earlier reports, she has injured herself once again during the Impact Sacrifice pay-per-view and it will continue to make an impact on her wrestling capacity.

During the event, the dual champion from the Impact roster, Deonna Purrazzo defended her ROH Women’s Title against Chelsea Green. There was a moment in the match where the referee threw up the X sign with his arms to signify that the challenger had suffered a legitimate injury.
Deonna checked on her opponent, but she rather responded with a strike to the face, intending to continue the match. Deonna then locked in her Armbar submission but the referee stopped the match. Deonna refused to let go of the submission and it was unclear if it was a serious injury or just a kayfabe one.

Chelsea Green doesn’t have to undergo a surgery
Then, Chelsea Green made several posts on social media, making it clear that she was indeed in the hospital to get treated due to her injured wrist. An update from Wrestling Observer has also suggested that she is suffering from a fractured left radius, the fourth injury in a similar position for the former Hot Mess from Impact Wrestling.
Surgery may not be required to be healed but she will have to continue to wear a cast. This is the reason why she wrestled with a similar cast on a post-Sacrifice episode of Impact. This injury news was also noted during that episode of Impact Wrestling. The good thing is Chelsea Green doesn’t have to be sidelined as she recovers from the injury.
After spending a tie with Impact, Chelsea Green was hired by the WWE to perform at the NXT brand, back in 2018. Nothing much was reserved for her on the black-and-yellow roster but she was supposed to receive a huge push upon coming to the main roster.
The Canadian superstar was sidelined due to another wrist injury during her first televised WWE SmackDown match on November 13, 2020. This ultimately led to her release from the WWE.
