Professional wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg who is a former three times WWE World Champion recently talked about his feud with Bobby Lashley and he explained how much he enjoyed it.

The feud between Bobby Lashley and Bill Goldberg started from SummerSlam pay per view event of last year and it ended at the Crown Jewel pay per view event later last year. It was a very entertaining feud overall and at the end, it was won by Bill, even though it was not quite comfortable for him throughout.

Goldberg On How Much He Enjoyed His Feud With Bobby Lashley

As mentioned above the feud started from SummerSlam pay per view event of last year. Bobby Lashley WWE champion back in the time, Goldberg challenged him for the title at the said event. It was quite an anticipated match as Lashley was the top star of WWE back in that time and Bill looked like a legend competition for him.

At the event, Bill was not only beaten by Lashley, he lost the match via knock out. It was a humiliating defeat for Bill. Lashley even attacked Bill’s son Gage after the match which made the feud personal. Even though Lashley claimed that the attack on Gage was completely unintentional.

After two months, Bill got the chance to take his revenge on Lashley. By that time Lashley lost the WWE Championship to Big E. Bill made his return to challenge Lashley in the Crown Jewel pay per view event. A match between the duo was booked where the stipulation was No Holds Barred Falls Count Anywhere. Bill not only defeated Lashley in this match but literally humiliated him.

Goldberg who is a former three times WWE World Champion recently spoke to After The Bell podcast where he talked about his feud with Bobby Lashley and he explained how much he enjoyed it. He said;

“That’s one of the reasons why I came back. I didn’t have the appreciation for the business that I do now back in the day, and I wasn’t the giving individual nor was I a giving character. Your legacy is not necessarily predicated upon what everybody sees.

“It means a lot to me to be able to come back and do things like that. It’s my duty, my honor, and my privilege. As I said, I didn’t have the appreciation for it before but I do now. I love Bobby. I respect him to the nth degree. I greatly appreciate his trust in me to do what we did.”
