The report didn’t specify any details on why she is coming back on Friday nights.

WWE Raw Superstar Reportedly Shifted Back To Smackdown 1

Starting in early April, WWE began airing a series of vignettes to set up things for Lacey Evans with a brand new character. The series ended last month on SmackDown and she re-debuted with a new theme song and a new gimmick, in front of the live crowd. It certainly received a loud babyface pop.

Lacey Evans switched brands on several occasions

A week forward, Lacey Evans was abruptly moved to the Raw roster internally, despite all her vignettes airing on SmackDown. Additionally, a report suggested that she would be working as a heel on the red brand. The reported switch left a lot of fans confused as the previous vignettes focused on Evans’ difficulties to sympathize with her as a proper babyface figure. Additionally, she had also served as a former United States Marine.

The move apparently came after Charlotte Flair urged time-off from WWE TV due to her marriage with Andrade that took place in late May. Lacey Evans was supposed to enter a program with The Queen after coming back to TV on Smackdown. But that couldn’t happen due to the absence of Flair. There’s no update on whether Flair will come back to the blue brand now that Evans is returning here, too.

Lacey Evans was also expected to make her triumphant in-ring return on the special Memorial Day episode of Raw during the April 30 episode but that match was canceled without any prior information. Prior to this stint of hers, The Sassy Southern Belle last appeared on the February 15, 2021 episode of Raw before going into the pregnancy hiatus.
