It seems every club wants to pounce on the opportunity to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United.

Every football club has taken a note of Ronaldo handing in a transfer request at Manchester United. In the same vein, offers are flying in from Middle East for the Portuguese star.

CNN Portugal report that a club from Saudi Arabia has now jumped in line to sign Cristiano Ronaldo. While United were first reluctant in letting Ronaldo go, the club has now reportedly accepted his wish to leave.

Further on, the Red Devils want as minimum a fee in the range of €14-€17 million for their star forward. Ronaldo has missed United’s preseason and is searching for a new club with his agent Jorge Mendes.

Saudi club bids €30 million for Cristiano Ronaldo

According to CNN Portugal who are yet to confirm the Saudi club’s name, an offer of €30 has been tabled in front of Manchester United for Cristiano Ronaldo.

While the offer exceeds the valuation by United, it further has lot in the bag for the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner. The Portuguese outlet adds that Ronaldo could earn as much as a whopping €250 million a the Saudi club.

The club as readied a two-contract for Ronaldo, with net salary of €125 million per year. Furthermore, Ronaldo’s super-agent Jorge Mendes could also receive €20 million ‘agent-fee’ if he succeeds in bringing his client to Saudi.

The deal is as lucrative as it can be, but it highly unlikely that Ronaldo puts pen to paper on this contract. The mercurial forward has already made it clear that he won’t leave Europe for at least next three years.

Ronaldo feels he is still at the peak of his form, as was evident last season when he bagged 24 goals in all competitions for United.

However, it was not enough for United to qualify for the Champions League, which has prompted Cristiano Ronaldo to leave. The striker wants Champions League football, with the ambitions of adding a sixth title.

Meanwhile, United’s rivals Chelsea are leading the race to sign Ronaldo. The Blues’ owner Todd Boehly is reportedly heading the talks and is finalizing on a £14 million bid. Whereas clubs in Bayern Munich and PSG have passed on the chance to land Ronaldo.
