Jose Enrique, and ex-Liverpool player has labelled Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel’s post-match interview after the Arsenal game as ‘crazy’ further admitting that he has ‘never seen him like that before’.
Arsenal scored 4 against Chelsea back in April this year when the two clashed in the Premier League. Fast forward three months, and the Gunners have once again netted 4 against the Blues, this time in the pre-season.
Thomas Tuchel was left fuming at his players, and lashed out at them in his presser. Moreover, this was Chelsea’s second consecutive defeat in the pre-season, after their loss against Charlotte FC.

Tuchel’s palpable sense of loss was so much that he even declared the Blues were not yet ready to challenge for the Premier League title.
Thomas Tuchel questions his players’ commitment
Both Arsenal and Chelsea are fiercely active in the transfer market, with the Blues having so far completed 2 signings and the Gunners welcoming 5.
However, Tuchel feels his players are rather busy in exploring their ‘options’ than focus on the training. The German said, “I saw today in Arsenal a level of mental commitment that we lacked because we have a lot of players who are thinking about leaving and looking at their options.”
He further continued, “Given our games today, we should not mention the two teams (Manchester City and Liverpool) in front of us. We got absolutely beaten by a team that does not play Champions League football and is far ahead of us.”

Jose Enrique who seemed baffled by the Chelsea manager’s blunt assessment, admitted, “Crazy post match interview from Tuchel. Never see him like that before.”
While Chelsea have acquired two big names in Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly, the club is also trying to facilitate some exits. As many as half-a-dozen players are looking for new clubs according to multiple reports.
Loan returnees Conor Gallagher, Armando Broja and first-team regulars Cesar Azpilicueta, Hakim Ziyech, Jorginho, Marcos Alonso are all considering leaving the club for various reasons.
Tuchel has less than 2 weeks to gather his squad for their Premier League opener against Everton. The manager will want a fully committed team to pick up pace at the start of the new season.
