WWE Smackdown and Raw rosters have already received a few returns to shake things up for good in recent times. Under the new leadership of Triple H, there’s a lot ongoing at this moment within the company. Vince McMahon fired a lot of talent but his son-in-law is poised to bring back some of them, especially his favored ones within whom he sees great potential.
It seems he’s planning on bringing some more superstars back on this week’s WWE Smackdown. If reports are any indications that former popular NXT stable Hit Row might get another shot to showcase their talent in WWE.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful confirmed behind his paywall that Top Dolla and Ashante Thee Adonis plan to be on WWE SmackDown this week. It’s not known what their roles will be on the show but the good thing is that they will be on the show,
“Top Dolla and Ashante Thee Adonis were actively planned to be at this week’s Smackdown tapings to some degree. Fightful Select has confirmed those are the working plans, though we don’t know in what context they’re being brought in.”

Fightful Select also noted in their report, that Francis is currently not involved in the A&E TV show, “WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures.” He was the host of the reality show during its first season.
For those show have forgotten, Francis and Adonis were part of the popular stable, Hit Row. The group also included the current AEW wrestler Swerve Strickland, then known as Issiah “Swerve” Scott, and “B-Fab” Briana Brandy. All four were released by WWE in November 2021, shortly after they received the main roster call-up from NXT to WWE Smackdown.
WWE Smackdown lineup set for this week
The news of Hit Row possibly appearing on the blue brand is enough to make the fans excited. They’ve already witnessed Karrion Kross and Scarlett’s unprecedented return, last week. Prior to that, the likes of Dakota Kai and Io Shirai also found their way back to WWE at Summerslam.
On this week’s WWE Smackdown Gunther is set to defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura. Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah will face Shotzi and Xia Li in the second match of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament. Plus, a contract signing between SmackDown” Women’s Champion Liv Morgan and Shayna Baszler will also go down.
