WWE Raw visits the capital of the United States en route to Clash at the Castle with a fresh United States Title match serving as the main event of the night. Riddle will be on the show to possibly set up his due PLE match with Seth Rollins. Plus, the Women’s Tag Team Title Tournament will also continue on the show that takes place at the Capital One Arena in Washington, District of Columbia.
Last week, Ciampa got the biggest opportunity since arriving on the main roster when he squared off against United States Champion Bobby Lashley with the title hanging in the balance. He dedicated his performance to the late WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race and then took the champion to his limits in a solid outing on WWE Raw.
The Miz tried to provide the upper hand to Ciampa but AJ Styles crashed into the scene to neutralize things. In the end, The All-Mighty triumphed over the former NXT Champion but he certainly forgot the assistance from the Phenomenal One.
So, for the first time in the history of WWE Raw, AJ Styles will go up against Bobby Lashley to challenge the latter for the United States Title. The champion is certainly living up to the moniker of being a fighting champion. But the question remains whether he can survive against a former WWE Champion.

Following last week’s main event bout between AJ Styles and The Miz on WWE Raw, cameras cut to the security team trying to prohibit a mystery man from entering the ring. That resembled former NXT Superstar Dexter Lumis and the identity was later confirmed by the WWE.
Nothing in particular about his return has been noted, till now as we expect some updates regarding it on tonight’s show. Initially, he is being blamed for a black car getting crashed in the backstage area while Kevin Owens was being interviewed by Kevin Patrick. Afterward, Doudrop, Nikki A.S.H., and several WWE officials were found scouting the scene.

WWE Raw Preview (15/08/22): Riddle returns for an interview
Riddle hasn’t been seen on WWE Raw since Summerslam where he was viciously attacked by Seth Rollins. The two have been involved in a program that was supposed to produce a match at the biggest event of the summer. But for creative reasons, that match was canceled while WWE showed an injury as the reason for the cancellation.
Now, The Original Bro is slated to appear on WWE Raw, this week for an exclusive interview. Reports from Fightful Select noted that Riddle’s injury is a kayfabe one and there are still plans to do the match against Rollins down the line, possibly at Clash at the Castle. So, we can expect Rollins to interrupt the interview to confirm the match for the next PLE.
WWE started a tournament for the vacant WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, starting with this past Monday’s WWE Raw which then continued on SmackDown. In the first match, the team of WWE 24/7 Champion Dana Brooke and Tamina lost to Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky while in the second match, Shotzi and Xia Li came up short against Raquel Rodriquez and Aliyah.
This week on WWE Raw, another first-round match of the tournament, overall the third one will take place where the team of Nikki A.S.H. and Doudrop would be going up against Alexa Bliss and Asuka. The latter babyface duo is picking up momentums, as of late but they should come up with a perfect strategy to overcome the tandem that is acting as a pair for a long time.
