Professional wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley who is a former 10 times Tag Team Champion in WWE recently discussed about the first promo of Liv Morgan after she became the WWE SmackDown Women’s champion and explained why he is not a fan of it.
Liv Morgan is one of the home grown talents of WWE who started her professional wrestling career back in 2014 at a very young age of 20. She worked on the NXT which was the development territory of WWE for 3 years and she have been pretty impressive even at a very young age. Since she was a home grown talent of WWE, fans had high expectations from her.

Bubba Ray Dudley Did Not Like Liv Morgan’s First Promo As Champion
She spent 3 years on the NXT and she was successful in the brand, even though she failed to win any Championship. In 2017 she came to the main roster of WWE for the first time and teamed up with Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan who were her fellow NXT call ups. Together they were known as The Riott Squad.
But the stable did not survive for long and Sarah Logan and Ruby Riott got released from WWE respectively. After the release of these two stars, it look like there is no future left for Morgan in WWE. But it turned out to be the completely opposite since WWE started to push her as a singles star and as a title contender.

Recently at the Money in the Bank pay per view event, she won the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match and cashed in the contract on the same night after Ronda Rousey defeated Natalya. Morgan pinned Ronda Rousey to win the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship. Finally, she is getting her main event push.
Bubba Ray Dudley who is a former 10 times Tag Team Champion in WWE recently spoke on Busted Open Radio where discussed about the first promo of Liv Morgan after she became the WWE SmackDown Women’s champion and explained why he is not a fan of it. She said;

“I didn’t think it was a strong promo from her. But I will say this, the people were behind her, at first, but then it started to trail off a bit. I believe she was trying to memorize a promo last night – they’re never going to hand Liv Morgan a microphone and say, ‘Here’s five minutes, go say whatever the hell you want to say.”
“Unfortunately, when I hear Liv talk last night, I feel like I’m watching somebody who’s playing a pro wrestler as opposed to being a pro wrestler. This whole, ‘We did it guys, if it wasn’t for you guys, you guys got me all the way through,’ it’s uber babyface, chase-the-hug stuff and I understand why they do it. But, I want to see Liv come out there and stand on her own two feet – verbally and physically.”
