Since WWE has announced their much-anticipated brand split for Raw and Smackdown, fans have been buzzing with thousands of rumors that is flying around the internet. We definitely expect some major call-ups from the NXT to fill the both the roster prior to the split. But, as of now that has been proven nothing but a wild guess. Till date, nothing sort of announcement attached to the brand split has been found and so we can expect the build-up should be made post-Money in the Bank scenario.
Vince McMahon has finally agreed to bring some more new talents to the main roster from NXT and thus Triple H has to send more of the fresh bunch of superstars on either Raw or Smackdown. In turn, NXT would be filled with younger talents from all over the world and the classic Cruiserweight championship that will take place on the WWE Network.
Cagesideseats.com also reports, WWE is planning to bring some more NXT stars to the roster post-Money in the Bank scenario and as a result, we can expect to see some big debuts on Raw after the pay-per-view. The first among those call-ups is former NXT champion Finn Balor who is expected to be seen on the roster since he has lost his championship to Samoa Joe. Among the others, there should be American Alpha in the tag team division and Bayley or Carmella in the Divas division.
The scenario is very much suitable for the debuts after the big event gets concluded on this Sunday. WWE Creative would like to introduce the names in the roster with just one month away from the brand split so that can be known to the mainstream audience.
As announced earlier, Smackdown will go live on air starting from July 19th on Tuesday Nights on the USA Network. As a result of the brand split, we will see Smackdown heading towards its old glorious days where it was treated in a separate way from Raw and had its separate roster and championships.
