Cristiano Ronaldo has completed his move to Saudi side Al Nassr, signing a bumper €500m deal until the summer of 2025. The transfer has made the Portugal captain the highest paid athlete any sport has ever seen, with a pay cheque of €200m-per-year, of which his fixed wages will amount up to €90m and another €110m in image rights and other commercial deals.
The former Manchester United forward was presented to the Al Nassr fans in a glitzy ceremony as well at the club’s home turf Mrsool Park. Ronaldo looks ready for his new challenge in the middle-east, as The Daily Mail has released the inside details of the 37-year-old’s temporary stay in the City of Riyadh until he finds a new mansion for him and his family.

According to The Daily Mail, Cristiano Ronaldo is currently resided in Riyadh’s luxurious ‘Four Seasons Hotel’. The glamorous forward is occupying a stunning 17-room ‘Kingdom Suite’ in the hotel, which is home to his family, friends and security entourage. He has a month’s reservation in the enormous suite, which is one of the best in the 99-story skyscraper and spans two levels.
The tastiest delicacies from China, Japan, India, and the Middle East, made with the freshest ingredients, are available for the Portuguese star for dining. Chefs are offering Ronaldo and his family a special in-room dinner service because of his celebrity status and the staff have been told not to approach the five-time Ballon d’Or winner for selfie or autographs.
Four Seasons have not even mentioned on the hotel’s website rent of the suite, as well as the adjacent ‘Royal Suite’ too must be booked privately in person until Cristiano Ronaldo and co are staying there. Ronaldo is yet to make his debut for Al Nassr, as the club’s every foreign slots has been occupied and one should be cleared for the Portugal captain. The latest reports have claimed that Cameroon international Vincent Aboubakar is highly likely to reach a mutual contract termination with the club in order to facilitate Ronaldo’s registration.
Until then, it being speculated that Cristiano Ronaldo make his unofficial debut for Al Nassr against his old rival and newly crowned world champion, Lionel Messi, when his PSG visit the country this month for a friendly against Saudi All-Star XI. An Al-Nassr source said Ronaldo could only feature for ‘around 30 minutes’ against the Parisians, whereas PSG are yet to confirm their squad for the game and whether Messi will travel or not.
