As reported last week, the main event of AEW Revolution 2023 was declared, last week and it will see MJF defending his AEW World Championship against Bryan Danielson in a 60-minute Iron Man Match. The challenger had to go through a series of matches to keep his winning streak intact until February to get the title match opportunity.

Moving on, this week’s Dynamite has confirmed a number of matches for AEW Revolution 2023 including a gimmick match. Jon Moxley had a previous controversial win over Adam Page during a previous episode of Wednesday Night Dynamite. But the beef will continue as the two will now lock horns in the pay-per-view event.

This week on Dynamite, Adam Page defeated Kip Sabian in singles competition. After the match, Moxley and the rest of the Blackpool Combat Club appeared in the ring to have a heated exchange with Page. Moxley ended up challenging Page to a Texas Death Match, a match where the two can go to extreme limits that were confirmed for AEW Revolution 2023.

Wardlow will get to challenge Samoa Joe for the TNT Championship at the upcoming PPV event. After the match was announced on Dynamite, Wardlow appeared in an interview session with Jim Ross and promised to destroy the reigning for insulting him at the December 28, 2022, edition of Dynamite. This will mark the first title defense for Samoa Joe since defeating Darby Allin in a No Holds Barred Match to win the title.

AEW Revolution 2023: Texas Death Match And 2 Championship Matches Set 1

AEW Revolution 2023 will also feature a fatal-4-way match on the card for AEW World Tag Team Championships. The Gunns will defend their titles against The Acclaimed and two other teams to be announced, those will be determined through a series of battle royals. The first of those matches will go down on next week’s episode of Dynamite.

AEW Revolution 2023 pay-per-view event is scheduled for Sunday, March 5 at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California. The updated match card for the event goes as follows:

– Fatal-4-Way Match for the AEW World Tag Team Championships: The Gunns (c) vs. The Acclaimed vs. TBD vs. TBD
