IPL 2023: Jasprit Bumrah: Indian team speedster Jasprit Bumrah didn’t feature in the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy due to injury, the right-arm pacer is currently recovering at National Cricket Academy ( NCA) in Bengaluru, he is doing rehabilitation to fully recover for the upcoming cricket season.
Bumrah is yet to get clearance from NCA to play, meanwhile, the reports claim that the Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) will closely monitor his workload in IPL 2023 with the help of NCA coaches.

During BCCI annual meeting last year, it was decided mutually by all board members, that NCA coaches will be in touch with IPL franchise team management in monitoring the Indian player workload. Indian board will surely keep a tab on fast bowlers to not get an excessive amount of wear and tear while playing in the IPL.
The 29-year-old Bumrah has taken part in a couple of practice matches. The coaches in the Indian cricket team’s academy are keen on the idea of increasing the intensity of his recovery progress, the right-arm speedster recovery equation comes with his availability in the 2023 IPL comes as reported by Cricbuzz.
The Ahemdabad-born Bumrah’s last competitive appearance for Men in Blue came during the home series against Australia in September 2022.
