Lana proved herself to be a hell of an entertainer during her WWE run that lasted for almost nine years since NXT’s debut. She also had a memorable stint on the main roster since 2014. Especially, her last run with the company helped her to prove her worth as a wrestling talent. It largely involved her feuding with Nia Jax and getting put through the announcer’s table that showcased her hardcore side.
Down the road, she hoped to become a tag team champion in the WWE with Asuka by her side. But Charlotte Flair’s sudden return ruined that opportunity. Down the road, Lana was eventually fired by WWE back in June of 2021 due to COVID-19-related budget cuts. Since then, she has kept herself busy with multiple projects those aren’t related to wrestling.
Lana Reveals Whether Reality Television Series Took Away Her Job In WWE

However, on several occasions, Lana has put over the fact that she loves wrestling in the ring more than anything in her career. This is the reason why she would love to come back to the WWE. At one point, there were also rumors about her moving to the AEW to possibly join Rusev aka Miro on TV but there’s a reason why that didn’t happen.
Lana loves the way WWE presents entertainment to its audience
While speaking to the Bailey Wrestling Show, the real-life CJ Perry went on to compare WWE with the AEW. While throwing a little shade at Tony Khan, she noted how Khan runs AEW the way he loves to. But that’s not the case with the WWE which makes it a global phenomenon.
“Tony Khan runs his business however he’d like to run his business, I’m going to leave it at that. There’s a reason why WWE is the greatest wrestling franchise and one of the greatest franchises in the world, and it’s because they value sports entertainment, storytelling, and not just fighting for a ‘wrestling title,’ but they value resolving conflict in the ring and that’s what makes wrestling special,” Lana explained.
“You can fight over anything like (Chris) Jericho would fight over a list. Rusev [Miro] fought in my honor so many times.”

Lana also admitted during this particular conversation that she would shut down her premium content website if WWE ever gives her a call. This came after she was vocal about Rusev Day possibly coming back to the WWE, down the road. With Triple H in charge of the creative things in the WWE, these two can certainly hope for the same.
