Veteran off-spinner thinks that Kohli must be relieved after his 28th Test hundred-

He (Kohli) must be very relieved with his hundred and so are all his fans. I wanted him to score runs and all the other batters as well,”

I wanted to see if they could play on better wickets where they also have their chance to score those runs and I’m so glad they actually got the wicket where they had the chance to score runs,” Harbhajan said.

Kohli’s knock ensured India averted the possibility of a loss in the Test match. Rohit Sharma was the only century scorer after the end of three test matches, but the fourth game saw four centuries scored after the end of Day 4 play.

Virat Kohli being Virat Kohli. He needed this kind of a knock to get back into the rhythm and the kind of rhythm India would need him to be going forward,”

I hope from here onwards we see the upward for Virat Kohli and he will continue to be the vintage Virat Kohli for all of us and score many many runs for team India,” he further added.

The former Indian skipper was struggling to score in the longer format of the game for the Asian Giants, the star Indian batter had last scored a Test century in November of 2019 against Bangladesh at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Since then, he couldn’t reach the three-figure mark in international cricket till Asia Cup 2022.
