Eric Bischoff Thinks Sami Zayn Will Not Lose Fan Support Very Soon
After Sami decided to turn on the Bloodline at the Royal Rumble pay per view event, fans went completely wild to show their support for Sami. At the Elimination Chamber pay per view event, Sami went on to challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Universal Heavyweight championship where almost everyone supported the Canadian professional wrestler.
But unfortunately Sami lost, like almost everybody predicted. And the more unfortunate thing was, Sami lost his main event push after losing the title shot as well. A lot of fans believed that WWE would feature Sami on the main event of WrestleMania 39, but it was pretty unfortunate that it never happened.

Eric Bischoff who is the first ever General Manager of Monday Night RAW recently spoke on his 83 Weeks Podcast where he talked about the defeat of Sami Zayn at Elimination Chamber and explain why he would not lose the fan support even after the defeat. He said;
“The fans really want to see him get that title. It’s not like they’re going to stop wanting it. When you have a babyface, just a white hot babyface, it’s not so important that they get the title, it’s important that they’re chasing that title.

“The only way that works is if the audience really wants, I mean genuinely, not because they just want to see a title change and have something to chat about on Reddit or whatever. The emotion that the audience has invested in Sami is not going to go anywhere.
“I’m sure some of the fans, and especially in Montreal, were let down. I’m sure some of the fans watching on pay-per-view around the world were probably let down because they really wanted it for him, but they’re gonna want it for him again within the next couple of months, so I don’t think Sami is gonna lose any ground.”
