Harry Brook considers ‘Bazball’ role in his aggressive style of batting-

I think the way Baz is making us play, not making me but wanting us to play in the Middlesex, Stokesy is encouraging all of us out there to be a bit more positive, we feel on top of the world, especially in Test cricket. We feel like we can go out there and do anything. It’s been really good the last couple of months,” said the SRH opener.

The 24-year-old has been a sensational performer for England in all three formats since he made his debut against the West Indies in 2022. Brook is already touted to be the next big thing in the world of cricket. England’s Harry Brook scored his fourth century in test cricket under the challenging condition in New Zealand as he smashed a career-best 186 from 176 balls which included 24 fours and five sixes in his innings.

While the English team under the managership of Brendon McCullum has adopted the aggressive style of play in all formats of the game, which has been termed ‘Bazball”, this offensive style of play has been best suited in Test matches, as under the leadership of Ben Stokes they have managed to win 10 longer format of the game in 13 fixtures.

It was Brian, who came to me after the second game. Obviously, we didn’t do well, and he came up to me and said ‘Would you want to open?’ I said yeah, I am not worried about where I bat as long as it’s not below 6 (laughs). Yeah, I have enjoyed it. It’s probably the best place to bat. Hopefully, I can score plenty more runs in the IPL,” he further added.

With Harry’s 100, Aiden Markram 50, and Abhishek 32(17), the visitors reached 228/4 at the end of 20 overs against KKR, as the home side lost the game by 23 runs at Eden Gardens.  Earlier, the English star failed to fire in the ongoing edition of IPL 16, scoring only 29 runs in three outings.

I have played a bit of golf. I have found a new partner in Brian Lara. We are unbeaten at the moment. We are looking for some competitors. We have dealt with everybody we have played so far. We are trying to find somebody who can beat us,” stated Brook about his new Golf partner.

Former West Indies captain Brian Lara was Hyderabad’s batting coach and strategic advisor for the 2022 season, during which they finished eighth out of the 10 teams after losing eight games, but as former head coach Tom Moody discontinued after the last edition, so franchise choose Lara for the head coach role.
