Erling Haaland and his Manchester City teammates have been celebrating their Champions League triumph in a wild manner. And why should not they? Afterall, they have made Manchester City just the second team after Manchester United’s legendary team of 1999 to win the treble.
After winning the Premier League and FA Cup, Manchester City finished their season with the historic Champions League triumph. A stunning goal from Rodri was enough for Pep Guardiola’s men to seal Manchester City’s first-ever Champions League triumph. Since then, the City players have been partying like anything as they enjoy a well-deserved break.
The Manchester City squad received a rousing receptions from thousands of fans on the streets after the historic feat. Fans braved adverse weather conditions to ensure that the players receive the reception they deserved after doing extremely well on the field.

The parade witnessed a series of hilarious moments and Erling Haaland also made sure to give the a fans one such moment. The Norway international just could not stop himself from having some fun at the expense of rival fans.
After their open-top bus parade, the City squad and staff continued the celebrations at Depot Mayfield, where Haaland stole the show by taking the mic and singing a hilarious chant. The 22-year-old made sure to remind the rival clubs’ fans the chant they used to sing to take a dig at City’s failure at the European level.
“I’ve got only one song to sing. I’ve been hearing it quite a lot for the last couple of months I’ve been here. … Champions of Europe, you’ll never sing that,” said Haaland.

Meanwhile, Haaland had a stunning debut campaign with City. The former Borussia Dortmund star hit the ground running and shattered numerous records. He scored a stunning 52 goals in all competitions in his first-ever season in England.
