Cody Rhodes made his return to WWE last year at WrestleMania 38 and instantly got involved in a mega match with Seth Rollins. He was the surprise opponent for the Visionary at WrestleMania 38. The duo presented and excellent match at the Grandest Stage of them all and it was a really great return for Cody.
This was not just a one match feud between Rollins and Rhodes. The duo had a series of three matches in total and all of them were pretty good. They are final encounter at Hell in a Cell was considered match of the year for 2022 and Cody wrestled this match with scary looking injury. This injury sidelined him from action for eight long months.

The Wrestling World Awaits: Cody Rhodes’ Thoughts on Being Friends with Seth Rollins
In this series of matches, Cody won it all. But WWE kept a possibility open to have more matches between the two in the future after their final clash at Hell in a Cell. After Cody’s final appearance before taking time off due to injury, he got attacked from Seth which kept the door open for more matches in the future.
Cody is currently involved in a feud with Brock Lesnar which is likely to conclude at SummerSlam and Seth rollins on the other hand is holding the World Heavyweight Championship which he would defend against Finn Balor against the mentioned event. They are not crossing their paths at this moment. Speaking On “Insight with Chris Van Vliet” recently, Cody shared praise for Rollins but why they could never be friends;

Cody Rhodes Had Three Victories Over Seth Rollins
“I can’t even begin to tell you how good Seth Rollins is as a wrestler, psychologist in the ring,” Rhodes said. “And without getting too far, Seth made a decision that day that he made, it was his decision to make. That will forever be something I’m grateful for. Seth and I are not friends. It doesn’t look like we’re heading towards friendship. There’s been some flirtation with it. Don’t think it’s going to happen though.”
“All that aside, if I ever write a book one day, a whole chapter will be about how good that guy is and how he’s super valuable to WWE, and he’s still undervalued, in my opinion. Having Monday nights with him and I in a nice, competitive ‘who’s the guy,’ without ever having to be in the ring with each other, I couldn’t ask for a better sparring partner in that sense.”

It is not very likely to see these two athletes having another feud anytime soon but a World Heavyweight championship feed between the duo after SummerSlam or later would be really amazing to witness. But at this moment it looks like they would continue they are current feuds or have different storylines after SummerSlam.
