Becky Lynch remains one of the biggest names available in the WWE locker room which guarantees her presence on any big events. With Summerslam 2023 available waiting this weekend, plenty of speculations were available regarding the matchup scheduled between the former Raw Women’s Champion and WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus. Unfortunately, the match has been taken off the card on a sudden basis.
Becky Lynch was originally scheduled to square off against Trish Stratus at WWE SummerSlam 2023, this Saturday in a rematch from Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia. But that match was pushed back to the August 14 episode of WWE Raw in the latter’s home country of Canada. This visibly led to the frustrations of many, including Lynch herself.

Taking to her Instagram account, Becky Lynch posted a series of photos from a shoot that was originally done for the upcoming Premium Live Event where she won’t be featuring, altogether. Posing for the camera in a sparkly silver outfit with a blue sports car in the background, she wrote the following as the caption of the post, “This was the shoot I did for Summerslam….”

While nothing further was noted by Becky Lynch, certainly, Becky Lynch isn’t happy with WWE’s decision of moving the match from the Biggest Party of the Summer. From the very beginning of her feud against Trish Stratus, this match at Summerslam was set to culminate in the program between the two. Possibly, WWE wanted to shred the load from the PLE card and the marquee bout was thus dismissed.
Previously, also Stratus took to her own Instagram page to post a cryptic message of her own. “So tired of this s***,” she wrote alongside a picture of the brawl with her current rival in the timekeeper’s area from this week’s Raw when the match was officially canceled from Summerslam.
