Dave Meltzer recently appeared on “McGuire On Wrestling” where he speculated that Cody Rhodes would ultimately dethrone The Head of the Table.

Meltzer also reported on “McGuire On Wrestling” wrestling that Jey Uso was never planned to be the one to dethrone Roman Reigns who is carrying his Universal title since August, 2020. Cody Rhodes is heavily rumored to challenge Reigns at WrestleMania 40 which would be a rematch from WrestleMania 39.

Brock Lesnar wrestled Cody Rhodes at Summerslam which was the final match of their long running feud. After the match, Lesnar showed his respect towards the American Nightmare officially ending their feud which is going on since the first episode of Monday Night RAW after WrestleMania 39.

Roman Reigns Recently Crossed 1000 Day Mark As WWE Universal Champion

It is rumored that Lesnar might not appear in WWE very soon after this defeat. Dave Meltzer reported on his Wrestling Observer Radio that Lesnar would be out of action for some months only and he would be back to build a completely feud which would potentially head towards WrestleMania 40.

Jimmy Uso betrayed his brother Jey Uso at Summerslam during Jey’s big match against Roman Reigns. Definitely, they are building a feud between the duo that would potentially end up in a brother vs. brother match. WrestleVotes reported that this big match is planned for WrestleMania 40 as of now.

Reports from Wrestling Observer suggest that Kenny Omega was on the ‘most wanted list’ of WWE before resigned with AEW. WON also reported that he would have been given the same treatment as the ‘top guys’ like Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and Brock Lesnar, if he signed with WWE.
