Top matches for the monthly WWE Network Specials have been booked to make it a not-to-be-missed show. While entertaining action is expected for the PLE, it could eventually turn out to be a filler event after the extravaganza that Summerslam 2023 was last month.
In the absence of top attractions like Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will be the headliner for Payback 2023 as he puts his title on the line against Shinsuke Nakamura in a fresh bout. But chances are low that we will see a title change in this match or in the PLE, itself.
