Lana was a perfect feature on WWE TV who once lived up to WWE’s theme of serving sports entertainment to its fanbase. During her heyday in the company, WWE heavily inserted her on regular TV which was a rare thing since the company never considered her to be a bonafide wrestler. Although she never won a championship in the company, people mostly adored her for her efforts to garner attention.
The same aspect of her character still remains intact as Lana has changed her base from WWE to AEW starting from last night’s All Out 2023 pay-per-view event. Without any prior info available on the internet, she showed up on the Tony Khan-owned promotion to stir the pot, against her husband, Miro Fka Rusev in the WWE.

Miro defeated Powerhouse Hobbs at All Out, but after the match, he was handed a beatdown, courtesy of the behemoth. As Hobbs was about to choke him down, Lana aka CJ Perry showed up, which was a big surprise for the fans. She was never mentioned by her name but rather the commentators addressed her to be Mrs. Miro having the “hot and flexible” gimmick.

Although Lana’s arrival gave advantage to Miro, he looked shocked, and he didn’t know what to do afterward. Leaving a cliffhanger to the audience, he left Lana in the ring thereby teasing that a storyline will pan out on AEW television in the near future. Eventually, it has already started playing out on social media as the former WWE Diva wrote the simple message on her Twitter account,
“I’m not the kind of woman you renounce @ToBeMiro #AllOut @AEW”

Lana was a star of Total Divas who also has the experience to feature in TV and movie roles. Hence, she’s always been a legit performer when it comes to character playing. A lot of fans previously wondered if she would be needed to join Miro and whether AEW would want her in the first place. After months of tease, she’s finally here in All Elite Wrestling and hopefully, yet another personal angle will unfold around her and Miro in the coming weeks. At this point, there’s no update on how AEW Creative wants this storyline to go down on TV.
