Smackdown was coming live tonight from Nashville, TN. The new era is in full force in WWE and the second longest running weekly television show in the history was went all out to cope up with Raw.
Now, last week we have seen Dolph Ziggler emerging as the new number one contender for the WWE World Championship. So all we wanted to see how the feud continues till Summerslam. Also, since Randy Orton invaded to Raw and delivered a bold statement on the face of the beast, Brock Lesnar, we expected to return the favor back from the beast. Also, a return was expected since we have seen Zinder Mahal returning on Raw. So, with all of these answers waiting for the blue brand, the show kicked off with Shane and Daniel Bryan watching the footage from Monday Night Raw where Orton strikes with an RKO to Lesnar.
It looked like the show runners are really concerned about Orton’s well-being and arranged some security in case Lesnar tries to return a favor on Smackdown Live. Orton says if by any means the beast decides to trespass on the blue brand then it will take only one RKO to put him down. McMahon though is not convinced enough and advised the security team to keep an eye for Lesnar.
Later the night, Randy was scheduled for a match with Tyler Breeze. The Viper was having a good time with the rookie. He was just about to finish the match with DDT when he saw Brock Lesnar staring at him from ringside. It was easy for the beast to break the wall of security. He headed towards the ring and dropped Randy with a vicious F-5. Shane and Bryan ran up to the ring and begged Lesnar to leave the ring.
Later, the beast was escorted out of the arena and his advocate, Paul Heyman was ready with the car. Before leaving the arena, Lesnar said that he was just returning the favor and nothing else.
