Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas is finding life difficult under new manager Antonio Conte and could be forced to leave the club in January as a number of Italian clubs are interested in signing him, according to reports.
Despite Conte claiming that the player is in his plans for the season, the Spaniard have not been given chances so far to prove himself as his future still remains unclear at Stamford Bridge.
The 29-year old playmaker is snubbed in favour of defensive midfield pairing of N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic. However, the lack of form of Oscar could open doors for the Spaniard as the Blues fans have taken social media to express their dissatisfaction of Fabregas being benched.
Fabregas was benched in their 2-1 defeat to Liverpool as he came on as a late substitute but could not make much influence in the proceedings. The Spaniard’s chances to be in the national team could be severely affected if the situation continues as he looks for a first team football which could force a move away from Stamford Bridge.
According to Daily Mirror, Italian clubs Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan are all interested in signing the influential play-maker with his future still unknown under new manager Conte.
AC Milan have made an audacious attempt to sign the Spaniard in the summer transfer window but has failed to finalize the move as the Blues were not keen to sell the player. However, with the player becoming increasingly frustrated with the lack of chances at the club which could force a move.
Milan will also need to rival fellow Serie A clubs Juventus and Inter Milan if they want to sign the 29-year old as the three clubs are keen to loan the player for the second half of the season with an option to buy him at a later stage.
