WWE Raw was hosted this week by the FedEx Forum in Memphis, TN. This show marked the final one before the red brand comes up with their first ever brand specific PPV, Clash of Champions on Sunday from Indianapolis. The episode saw two main events between Seth Rollins vs. Rusev and Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens.
It was a first-ever steel cage match since the WWE Draft took place in July. The match was won by Reigns after he escaped the cage prior to the Universal champion. After the match was over Owens got furious with the outcome of the match. Hence he wanted to assault Reigns.
Rusev came down to the ring to accompany him and we heard Owens shouting with “Machka something!” We saw a two-on-one assault aftermath. However, quite shockingly Seth Rollins came out to the ring to make the save for Reigns. This was the most wonderful thing to witness Rolling in the corner of Reigns.
A high-flying dive from Rollins put both the heels down as we went off the air from WWE Raw. However, much like to the other weeks, WWE always arranges some special treatment for the fans in attendance and this week too, was not any exception.

The two heels were back to attack the two babyfaces after the camera stop rolling. Both the heels went right after their opponents at Clash of Champions. Rusev attacked Reigns whereas KO went after Rollins. However, the Architect soon encountered and delivered a pedigree to Owens to turn the tables. Reigns too connected with a huge spear to Rusev following it with his pendant roar.
The two former Shield members had a staredown before Rollins decided to leave the ring without celebrating the victory moments. Reigns music played in the background as the untelevised segment from WWE Raw came to an end.
