On day 2 of the first Test match, the play was called off early due to rain which was enough to ensure that there is no more play on Day 2. The Indian players will not at all be happy with their bowling today, on the other hand Kiwis must be quite proud of the way they played.
Neither Ashwin nor Jadeja could really live up to the expectation. The Indian camp toiled whole day while New Zealand batsmen made merry on the second day. As of now New Zealand team is in a safe position now but have to be cautious tomorrow as well. Play will resume 15 minutes early tomorrow with at least 98 overs to be bowled.
Twitter however sneaked in with few emotions and views on today’s game. Here are few of the best tweets of the day –

India swept only twice in 97 overs…NZ batsmen sweeping almost once every over. Different tactics to handle the same threat. #Spin #INDvNZ

Only Way To Stop Sir Jadeja From Scoring Is To Take Remaining Other 10 Wickets.

Other sports have meaningful internationals. Cricket is run like a social diary.
