Sheamus vs. Cesaro, the final match in the best of seven series was scheduled in the Clash of Champions PPV. This was a tough battle between these two warriors till now. Especially Cesaro made a terrific comeback from a 0-3 situation and that too, with an injured back.

The feud was set up for pushing Cesaro into the title picture. So, the WWE Universe expected to witness Cesaro walking out victorious to claim a championship match thereafter. In the opposition, there were certain rumors flying around that Cesaro is leaving WWE and hence he might end up losing the bout against Sheamus.

And what a battle these two had at the Clash of Champions PPV, it was unreal. This is awesome chant broke out into the arena as these two brawls inside and outside the ring. Sheamus hit with a White Noise to the floor to Cesaro. The Swiss Superman countered by taking both of them over the barricade. The referee counted both of them out and hence the match ended as no contest.

In the tag team title match, we predicted that the New Day will finally drop their title after holding it for over one year at Clash of Champions. Though Gallows and Anderson have not done something incredible yet to claim the championships, the title change was much necessary.

But, WWE Creative thought otherwise since New Day has held the title for 399 days and will likely to make it 400 days, now. After evading the Magic Killer, Big E and Kofi connected with the Magic Killer to retain the tag team title. This was the first match of the PPV’s main show.
