WWE Clash of Champions 2016: Rusev vs. Roman Reigns results (US championship) 1

WWE Clash of Champions is the first ever pay-per-view from the WWE Raw brand since we have gone past the Draft. Smackdown has already delivered us with a successful PPV, Backlash. Now, it turned for Raw to give us something special with the Clash of Champions PPV. It came from the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in the Indianapolis, Indiana. We saw the United States Champion, Rusev defending his title against, Roman Reigns.

Now, Rusev was seemingly furious since Summerslam with the fact that Roman Reigns has robbed his wife, Lana’s honor without any reason, whatsoever. The man looked dominant since return as he has already punished Reigns twice before the Clash of Champions PPV. He looked to continue with his dominant title reign with Lana by her side in a physical battle.

The Ravishing Russian came first to introduce her husband in front of the audience present at Clash of Champions PPV, as we got set for the United States title match at the PPV. The Big Dog, Reigns headed towards the ring as the whole Indi crowd booed him out of the building. Rusev took the upperhand into the match by taking Reigns down. But the Samoan superstar was not the one to back down from a challenge.

Lana once again wanted to get involved in between the match. But, instead of getting the match disqualified, the referee sent her back to the locker room. Reigns took full advantage of it and after a terrific encounter, he won the US title at Clash of Champions.
