The Premier League has always been one of the most exciting places for some of the best talent in Europe.
The amount of competition in this league can easily spoil a career within a year but over the years the English league has also played host to some of the best young players in Europe.
So there is no surprise that the Golden Boy award, given to players with less than 20-years of age (born after January 1st, 1996) has gone to a Premier League player 6 times in the last decade.
Over the years, the league has always helped the young players in the country get their best out at such an early age and this year, the league has a plethora of talent to choose from for this award.
The likes of Renato Sanchez from Bayern Munich, Gianluigi Donnarumma from AC Milan and Moussa Dembele from Borussia Dortmund are among the front-runners for the prize this year from Europe but the Premier League has its own set of players that will challenge for this crown.
Here is a list of players who have made the nominations list for the Golden Boy award this season:

The Manchester Untied man, Marcus Rashford, is understood to be the front-runner for this award from the Premier League. He has been in excellent form for Manchester United and also for England scoring goals at a consistent rate and has already become an integral part of the squad for Jose Mourinho.

He has regularly started games recently and if he can keep his form up , he will surely compete for the golden boy award come the end of the season.
He is closely followed by Alex Iwobi of Arsenal who has made a sizzling start to his career at the club.

He moved to the club just last season but has assumed an important role in Wenger’s side in his hunt for glory this season. He has become better the more game time he has got and will surely compete for this title.
Manchester United have a good history in winning the golden boy award with Anthony Martial, the French international creating waves at Old Trafford, winning the honor last year.
Wayne Rooney (2004), Anderson (2008) are the other two winners for the club previously while Cesc Fabregas ran away with the title exactly 10 years ago.
