India have reclaimed the No.1 position as they have won the second test against New Zealand at Eden Gardens comprehensively by 178 runs. The result meant the team have managed to become No.1 after 2010 as they have dethroned Pakistan from the top ranking.
The Virat Kohli-led Indian team has looked impressive as they managed to clinch No.1 ranking during West Indies test series but rain has played spoiled sport which has swung the rank in Pakistan’s favour who have been equally impressive in their tour against England.
The Indian team, however, were considered favourites to retain their rank as they clinched the series against New Zealand quite easily. They have won the series 2-0 with a test remaining and a chance to whitewash the test match series.
However, just minutes before India becoming No.1 in tests, Radio Pakistan has tweeted: “Senate passes a resolution unanimously felicitating Pakistan Cricket Team on the achievement of number one position in Test Cricket Rankings.”

With India reaching No.1 test ranking just minutes after the resolution was passed by the senate, twitter trolled Radio Pakistan by mocking them about their lost No.1 ranking.

So your senate created a record for passing a resolution with the least validity period. Kudos… Kudos ????
