There’s a lot of unhappiness in WWE with the relationship between Paige and Alberto Del Rio. But, they are madly in love with each other and do not seem to care at all. They started dating in this year’s May and likely to take it further with Paige proposing to Del Rio in a pro-wrestling event.
Alberto Del Rio is under contract with the Lucha Underground wrestling promotion after he has quit WWE, last month. He appeared in a wrestling event organized by the company, last night where the proposal took place.

The event named WWC, Anniversario 43 saw Del Rio facing another former WWE Superstar, Carlito. After he was done with his match, Paige rushed towards the ring and bent down on his knees. She proposed to the Mexican Aristocrat and asked his hands for marriage. Del Rio did not take a moment to say ‘Yes’. The following moments saw them embracing and kissing each other with the fans chanting.
The Lucha Libre New generation posted the video of the incident on Facebook with the caption, “Last minute!! Paige proposes marriage to Alberto in Mayaguez in front of a euphoric fans chanting “yes yes yes yes yes”

Since the proposal took place in a pro-wrestling event, there are a lot of speculations going on with its legitimacy. By the looks of it and Paige’s interview following the incident, wrestlezone.com reported that it might be a shoot work for the promotion. However, if that is the case, then Paige might get into another trouble. Paige is still not over with her WWE contract and hence she can’t perform such stunts for another company. She is already suspended for the second time in her career due to the Wellness Policy violation. Currently, she is nagging an injury and might undergo a much needed surgery.
