Now, last week on Monday Night Raw, we have seen an earth-shattering return of the former WCW franchise, Goldberg. The man has been an ultimate destruction back in his days. He holds a record of 173-0 record in his beginning stint in WCW which is the greatest possessed by any wrestler. Now, the return might have shifted our focus a bit from an important news.
The newest member of Monday Night Raw from NXT, Bayley might have suffered a serious injury on Raw after getting attacked by Dana Brooke in her scheduled match. The match saw a huge upset when Dana pinned the former NXT Women’s champion by shoving her off into the ring post.
The incident took place when Bayley was going for a high-risk maneuver from the top of the turnbuckle. Dana countered by no getting her into the risky act and then she pushed her hard into the steel ring post. Quite surprisingly Bayley could not kick out of that and suffered a big loss.
A report from wrestlingnews.com suggests that Bayley was hurt legit by the move. She might not be scheduled for a loss, originally. But, she had no choice but to give up after the shoulder pain that she had suffered. After Raw went off the air, we have seen Bayley being helped by the WWE doctors, backstage.
There’s still a possibility of the incident being a storyline instead of reality since these two are getting into a feud for the last couple of weeks. WWE might use the injury purpose to make a match between these two at the Hell in a Cell PPV.
But, it will be unfortunate for Bayley if her injury is real. Her two mates from the four Horsewomen stable is all set to main event the in the Hell in a Cell PPV where she might not be able to compete, at all. We will be receiving further updates regarding the matter, in the next episode of Monday Night Raw.
