In his 20 years at the Emirates, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has lifted the Gunners from an average club to one of the best in Europe.
He has got them out of a financial slump while also helping the club to some of their best moments in their entire history, standing as one of the best managers in the history of the club.
He is the only Premier League manager at the moment to win the Premier League without being defeated throughout the season and is easily one of the best and most respected coaches in Europe.
However, he failed to lift any major trophy last season and has not won the league for more than a decade. Many of the fans and pundits now believe that this season might be the last chance for the Frenchman to prove that he still has what it takes to win titles in England.
It is an interesting time in his career at the club as it is clear that he himself is not sure of what to do at the end of the season. His current contract ends with the campaign but Wenger is yet to speak about his future.
It does not come as a surprise that the London outfit are already looking at managers to replace the Frenchman at the end of his term.
Though a number of top class names have been doing the rounds, one manager who has put himself in the race is Bayer Leverkusen head Roger Schmidt.

Speaking to the media recently, the Bundesliga man revealed that Premier League football interests him and that he can see himself managing a club in the top flight of English football for years to come.
However, he went on to explain that he is contracted with Leverkusen till 2019 and that he is happy to stay there till the end of his term.
“I like English football very much, because of the culture of football in the country,” Schmidt told the Mirror.
“I’m contracted with Leverkusen until 2019 but, if it was possible in the future to be a manager of an English football team, it would be very interesting for me. But at the moment, I am very happy where I am.
It will be interesting to see if Arsenal is genuinely interested in the 49-year old, who is yet to lift a major trophy in his career as a manager.

There are a number of names who can replace Wenger at the club but it will be important for Arsenal to take the right decision as changing things at a club that have been running in a particular way can be dangerous.
After 20 long years, it will not be easy for the club and the fans to accept a new face at the top so it will be interesting to see if Arsenal are ready to make a move for Schmidt.
Do you think the Leverkusen man can land the Arsenal job in years to come?
