WWE has started the process of making Seth Rollins the most popular babyface of the roster, for now. Finn Balor was supposed to be the man after he was called to the main roster but his Summerslam injury has nixed out all the plans. So, Rollins had to leave his villainous character that he usually plays and fans seem to be happy with it.
Rollins has a tremendous fan following in the WWE and now when he’s all set to start his feud with Triple H, he’ll get even more support. Recently, he had a Facebook live chat session with his fans where he opened up about a number of things. He was asked about borrowing his finishing move from his former mentor, Triple H despite their recent hatred towards each other. Rollins said that’s because there’s no replacement for him and he will be thinking of a new move when he is done with Triple H.
“No, you know what, let’s talk about that finisher for a minute. Look, the reason I did the pedigree, to begin with, was a tribute to Triple H. So now, every single time I deliver a pedigree, it’s me sticking my fist up in the air and telling him to stick it up his rear-end. He thinks he can stick it to me by anointing Kevin Owens as the new guy? There is no replacement for Seth Rollins.
So, every single pedigree from now until I drop Triple H on his big, stupid nose, that’s gonna mean something, that’s gonna mean something. That’s me sticking it to the man, sticking it to Triple H. So no, no new finisher, not until I’m done with Triple H.”
Seth Rollins also commented about Goldberg’s much-anticipated return to the squared circle and said Brock Lesnar will tear the old man apart. In addition, he also said he would love to face the former NXT champion, Samoa Joe, once he is done with his NXT stint.
“Uh, I’d love to face Samoa Joe, Dawn. It’s been uh, it’s been a long time since I’ve been in the ring with Joe. I think we’ve both grown a lot as performers, and uh, I think we’d actually tear the house down. So, hopefully, um, you know, once Joe’s done with his stuff in NXT, and uh, he can come make his way up here and we can have a good fight.”
“Am I gonna go after Goldberg? To be honest with you, I don’t think there’s going to be anything of Goldberg left after Brock Lesnar rips him apart.”
