England team is going through a rough patch in this series, but despite that fact, their players are not ready to drop their arrogant behavior and are not ready to accept the fact that they’ve been grounded by Indian batsmen in the series as the England bowler James Anderson, while speaking on Virat Kohli, said that Virat Kohli hasn’t changed and its only the pitches which have been the key to the success of Virat Kohli as he said, “I am not sure if he (Kohli) has changed. I just think any technical deficiencies he has got are not in play out here. The wickets just take that out of the equation. There is not that pace in the wicket to get the nicks like we did against him in England – with a bit more movement.

Further alleging that Kohli is just suited for pitches like these which are supportive for spinners and not fast bowlers, Anderson said, “When that (pace and movement) is not there, he (Kohli) is very much suited to playing in these conditions. He is a very good player of spin – and if you are not banging on the money and don’t take your chances, he will punish you.”

Anderson’s comments come after he failed in this series and has taken just four wickets in five innings till now. On the other hand, Virat Kohli is going through a dream run as he has scored 640 runs in the series so far but it’s also a fact that  Virat Kohli did not had a great record on last tour to England as he could just score 134 runs in 10 innings at a poor averge of 13.40. But he was not the best of the Test batsmen at that time and his performance on next tour should be an indicator whether he is a succesful batsmen in England or not.

Further talking on the batting of Jayant Yadav, Anderson said that they had plans for each and every batsman but it didn’t work off well, “We plan for every batsman — from Nos 1 to 11. We have played three Tests now against Yadav, so it is no surprise – we knew he can bat very competently. We had plans for him. Sometimes they don’t come off; sometimes you don’t execute your plans well enough, as was the case today. I thought he played exceptionally well,” said the highest wicket-taker for England.

Anderson showed positive signs and was hopeful that England will be able to turn the tables tomorrow and will make a comeback tomorrow and said, “We are going to come here tomorrow and try to fight our way back into this game if we can. We are 50 runs behind. If we can bat with the positive intent we showed today, there’s no reason why we can’t get a hundred ahead of them and then try to put some pressure on them with the ball.

His these comments demonstrates that he is not ready to accept the reality and is trying to live in a world, in which he wants to live, having no relation with the real world, away from illusions and delusions of the real world. To take a note, England is still 49 runs behind India’s total and Anderson’s comments really should give worry to England skipper Alastair Cook as it looks like the performance pressure has forced him to speak in such a way.
