WWE News: Undertaker’s Appearance On Smackdown Pushed By The Creative 1

The fans were delighted with the Undertaker’s return on Smackdown Live on the 900th episode of the show. To almost everyone’s interest, the Phenome also said he will be a regular member of the brand from now onwards. This wiped out all the speculations regarding his career. During this year’s summer, several reports surfaced on the internet suggesting he is no longer interested in competing in the WWE.

We were assured to see the Deadman back on track again. However, after that appearance, we haven’t seen him on the blue brand till now as per his promise. He was back saying he might perform on Smackdown as a full-timer. Taker also praised the Show-runner of the blue brand, Shane McMahon.

“Wrestlemania will no longer define who I am. I’m back, taking souls and diggin’ holes. Survivor Series was where The Undertaker was born, and Smackdown has always been my home.”

The Undertaker’s appearance was expected after the TLC PPV got over. Many reports suggest he is going to be the next opponent for AJ Styles. Taker will challenge the Phenomenal One for his WWE title at the Royal Rumble PPV. So, he should be back to hype up the feud.

However, that hasn’t happened till now and the rumor mill suggests that the creative put a hold on the Undertaker’s next appearance. There’s a huge gap between the TLC and The Royal Rumble PPV, which will take place on January 29th. The WWE does not want to misuse Taker this month and have reserved it for the next month when the hype around the Royal Rumble PPV starts.

Most probably, he will appear on Smackdown either on the first or second episode of 2017. Previously, he was spotted backstage on Raw when an episode was taped from his home state of Texas.
