The Premier League are the financial superpowers in the world of football, and it is very rare that they fail to match the offers from clubs outside the country.
But in the last few transfer windows, they have found it hard to keep up with the spending spree from Asia from the Chinese Super League, as clubs from England have lost a number of star transfer targets to clubs from China.
The Chinese Super League is now the richest league in the world and they are looking to add as much quality to their lineups as possible now that the transfer window is open.
Carlos Tevez, Oscar and John Obi Mikel are just three big names that have joined CSL clubs this January and they are not yet ready to give up this transfer window.
According to reports today, the CSL clubs are now eyeing ambitious moves for star English internationals, who are settled at their respective clubs in the Premier League.
The Daily Mail claims that a host of star players are now eyed by several clubs in China and they are reportedly ready to offer these players, a weekly wage close to £800,000. It is 5 times what most stars earn at their clubs in the Premier League and as a result, there is an unrest in almost every dressing room in the country.
It is reported that representatives of the Chinese clubs have set up intermediaries that can make their work easy and they will now look to spend big before the deadline day.
Tottenham Hotspur duo Harry Kane and Dele Alli are among the names on the list that CSL clubs are reportedly interested in.

Both players are happy and settled at the White Hart Lane and will hope to fight for the title but the wage offer is too high for them to refuse without thinking it over.
Everton’s Ross Barkley, who has actually been linked with an exit is also among players wanted by CSL clubs. The English youngster has not been at his best this season, but Koeman will not be ready to let him go as yet.
The biggest name, however, remains that of Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge, who has been linked with an exit for more than a year now.

The English striker is no more the first choice at the club this season and will look for a way out if this situation persists.
So the insane offer from CSL clubs might tempt him to make the move finally.
Though it is hard to see any of these players leaving their clubs anytime soon, money talks, and it has been for a while now. So it should not come as a surprise if a move for one of these players transpires in the next few weeks.
Do you think CSL clubs can sign star English players this transfer window?
