Fans Allowed Free Entery For MS Dhoni's Final Game As Skipper 1

Fans will be allowed an entry for free to see the final game of M.S. Dhoni as a skipper after The Board of Control for in India (BCCI) agreed to pay an amount of  Rs. 60 Lakhs to Mumbai police, as charges for the security arrangments for the game.

Earlier, there were reports that the fans might miss out on the game as Cricket Club of India refused to pay the bill sent by police but later BCCI took the charge and agreed to pay the amount to the police for the security arrangements.

“There were only 40 policepersons who were set to be deployed initially,” the official said. “There are normally hardly 200-300 people for warm-up matches, but with Dhoni playing his last match as a captain, the game has become high-profile. There will be a bigger crowd now. So, more police personnel will have to be deployed; there will be around 300 policepersons now,” the official added.

Fans will be allowed to seat in the north and east stands as the West stand is going through renovation. A total of 10000 fans will be allowed to enter the ground and the gates will be a locked for the fans if the stands were filled by 3:00 P.M. The game will also be televised live.

It is the last time M.S. Dhoni will be seen leading a team. The match will get underway from 1:30 P.M.

Yuvraj Singh, Shikhar Dhawan and many other international players, who are part of the Indian squad for the limited-overs series against England will also participate in this game.

Meanwhile, Eoin Morgan will be leading the England squad for the first practice game.
