Serie A giants AS Roma have revealed the release clause for highly-rated youngster Leandro Paredes.
The 22-year-old has been linked with Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea, with Roma willing to let him go for £25.6million.
According to Sky Sports Italia, Roma boss Luciano Spalletti is looking to cash-in on the Argentinian playmaker, after signing Clement Grenier from Lyon in a loan deal until the end of the season.
Paredes made a name for himself in Italy last season, during a brilliant loan spell at Empoli.
However, he’s struggled to become a regular starter on his return to the Giallorossi.
Despite making 22 appearances for the side, he’s mainly been used as a substitute.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is reportedly an admirer of Paredes, and even lodged an £18m offer for the youngster in the summer.
Chelsea and Arsenal have also been monitoring the midfielder, although it remains to be seen if any club will make an offer for him this month.
Any team in pursuit of a midfield pivot who can play vertically would love to snap up the Argentine playmaker. Paredes isn’t one of those deep-lying midfielders that simply looks to ‘get and give’; he’s always searching for a forward pass to open up an opponent.
His exquisite ball control in tight spaces and creative instincts enable him to do some amazing works on a frequent basis. Playmaking from deep and shooting outside from the box are his main traits.
