WWE News: Full Match Card For The Madison Square Garden Special Event 1

We have reported earlier that WWE will be conducting a special live event during its Wrestlemania tour in the month of March. It will be hosted by Madison Square Garden arena in the New York City on March 13th. The main event of the night was already declared as Brock Lesnar will take on the current Universal Champion, Kevin Owens.

WWE has released the full match card of the night which is a full stacked one, so far. Quite surprisingly, it’s a Smackdown-exclusive house show which will witness two big names from the flagship show. It’s not yet revealed whether the event is going to be televised on WWE Network or not. Here’s the match card:
 John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt (WWE Championship Match)
 Randy Orton vs. Luke Harper
 Kevin Owens vs. Brock Lesnar (WWE Universal Championship Match)
 Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz vs. Baron Corbin (WWE Intercontinental Championship match)
 Dolph Ziggler vs. Apollo Crews
 The American Alpha vs. The Usos (WWE Tag Team Championship Match)
 Alexa Bliss, Mickie James, Natalya and Carmella (with James Ellsworth) vs. Nikki Bella, Tamina, Becky Lynch and Naomi
 Rhyno, Kalisto & Heath Slater vs. Curt Hawkins and Breezango

The matchup between Owens and Lesnar clearly indicates the fact that he might not remain as the champion after Fastlane PPV. In that case, the card should be updated and this match might not be contested in championship capacity. Owens should drop the title to Goldberg so that the Lesnar vs. Goldberg match converts to a championship match at Wrestlemania.
Bray Wyatt involving in a title match against John Cena also indicates the fact that the Eater of the World might end up winning the WWE championship in the Elimination Chamber match. This would mark his first run with the prime title so that he can defend it against Randy Orton at Wrestlemania.
Plus, Tamina Snuka will be joining the blue brand of the WWE upon returning back to WWE. She should act as a babyface, as per the card.
