Both Goldberg and Kevin Owens have blasted each other on Twitter in the recent past. The tradition started after the Myth stepped his foot into the first ever Kevin Owens Show on Monday Night Raw in January. This continued even afterward as Goldberg two more appearances on Raw.
Their chemistry with the mic and on the social media might have been going well and hence the creative booked them for the Fastlane PPV.
Meanwhile, after this week’s Friendship of Festival on Raw, they had a long conversation on twitter, once again. Goldberg was frustrated after seeing Owens beating down Gillberg on the show. Furthermore, he saw what the Universal Champion did to his so-called-best-friend. So he took no time to respond on the social media site.
Owens did not hesitate either to fire back in his own sarcastic style and the chitchat continued for quite a while. Take a look at the whole conversation.
Morons….

Considering you almost knocked yourself out headbutting a door, you should probably reconsider calling other people morons. https://t.co/sI9ig1P5oN

Ok, Bill. I’ve been digging holes for myself for 17 years and I’m doing pretty good. See you at Fastlane. https://t.co/vUqamkWP19

.@FightOwensFight Take lots of pictures with it Kevin. Remember the moment. At Fastlane, it’s GONE.

Take lots of pictures? Remember the moment?…What are you, my dad? Stop telling me what to do! And no, I will NOT turn down my music! https://t.co/7RCmurkFLK

.@FightOwensFight Well… If “Goldberg” or “Sir” doesn’t work for you, than yes, Daddy is fine.
— Bill Goldberg (@Goldberg) February 14, 2017
I’m sure that in your mind, that sounded super cool and badass but it’s just really, really creepy. Anyway, Happy Valentine’s Day, Bill! ??? https://t.co/DA7XgiP8wI

KO did not even hesitate to mock his opponent at Fastlane in a nasty way when he posted a video of baby sloth walking around and doing some loudmouth noise. He wanted to compare it with the former WCW franchise by tagging him. Goldberg did not respond to this one.

In case you did not notice then the moment when Goldberg was announced to challenge Owens for his title, he even blasted him for this year’s Fastlane poster.
Can you guys photoshop my beard too? You don’t need to change the color though. Maybe just make it thicker. https://t.co/BDlX1GPnHE

However, these mockeries will certainly not allow him to retain his championship at the last Raw-exclusive PPV before Wrestlemania especially considering that Jericho will not be present by his side, either. A title change might be on the cards on March 5.
