Indian captain Virat Kohli has won the prestigious Polly Umrigar award for the third time after winning it again in 2017.
He has also become the first Indian cricketer to receive the iconic award three times. Polly Umrigar award is given to the best international cricketer for that particular year.

Virat Kohli has been the most consistent player for India over the past three to four years and has reached a new level since last season. He has won the ICC Player of the tournament in 2016 T20 World Cup in India and has also managed an unbelievable 973 runs in a single IPL season last year.
The elegant right-hander has also managed to transform his form into the longest format of the game as he became the first player ever to score four double centuries in four consecutive series in a 2016-17 season.
He has also helped India go unbeaten in 19 consecutive tests as captain and have led the side to No.1 ranking during September and have made India a dominant force in test cricket.
He was also made the skipper across all the three formats and have enjoyed success both as batsman and captain over the past year. Meanwhile, Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin have managed to win Dilip Sardesai award for being the best all-rounder.
Ashwin has also managed to win Dilip Sardesai award twice and has become the first player to win it twice. Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) was chosen as the best state association after the team winning the Ranji trophy in the 2015-16 season.
