London outfit Arsenal have found themselves in a slump come March having made a decent start to the first half of the season.
They are currently more than 10 points off Chelsea at the top of the table and have very little chance of catching up with them. They are active in the FA Cup but are all but out of the Champions League after a disappointing result at the Allianz Arena not too long ago.
The manager has been under severe pressure since then as his side have failed show progress from the last few years and this has seen his place at the club come under severe scrutiny.

The Frenchman, who has been at the Emirates for more than 20 years now is offered a two year contract extension by the owners but he is yet to put pen to paper and has revealed that he wants to wait till the end of the season before taking a decision.
However, meanwhile, at the Camp Nou, Spanish manager Luis Enrique, who helped Barcelona to 5 major titles in the last two years, revealed that he will step down from the job at the Camp Nou.
Barcelona are currently at the top of the La Liga table but have played a game more than their Bernabeu rivals but are all but out of the Champions League with after an embarrassing defeat against PSG.
This has seen Enrique under serious pressure and he has now decided to end his time at the Camp Nou after the end of the season.
The Spanish giants are now in the market for a new manager and it did not take long for new outfits to put the pieces together. Wenger is now linked with a move to the Camp Nou that is if he decides to quit Arsenal.
Ahead of the game against Liverpool, the 67-year old was questioned about this rumor and here is what he had to say:
‘No my preference [staying at Arsenal] is always the same, it will remain the same. I am not looking for jobs of other clubs or jobs of other people. I am just focusing on getting to the next level and try to improve.
‘Competent managers always try to get better, to reinvent themselves.’
However, he went on to say that he will respect whatever decision the club takes regarding his future.

‘I’ve been here 20 years and many times had opportunity to leave. I don’t have to convince you my preference has always been Arsenal… but I am objective enough to make the right decision for myself and the club itself.
‘The club can also make their decision if it wants and I will respect that,” he added.
There were stories earlier in the week that Wenger rejected an offer of £30m a year from Chine to stay at Arsenal but when asked about this, Wenger was quick to skip the question.
He stated: ‘This press conference is about the Liverpool game.
Not about my future or what I turned down or did not turn down,’ he added.
Do you think Wenger will leave the Emirates this summer?
