Rahul Dravid:
The Wall of India – Rahul Sharad Dravid has worn many garlands of achievements, especially in Test cricket. He was the first non-Australian cricketer to be invited by Cricket Australia to give annual tribute to cricket’s first ever legend Don Bradman. The Indian legend Dravid, a soft-spoken cricketer, emphasized on the diversity of Indian cricket. He troubled them a lot of time but still Australia respect him because he has the caliber and temperament to fight shoulder with a shoulder against the toughest opponent. During his fitting tribute to Bradman, he said, “Indian cricket actually reflects our country’s own growth story. Cricket is so much a part of our national fabric that as India – its economy, society, and popular culture transformed itself, so did our most loved sport.” The former Indian captain further added, “Players should be ready to give up a little personal space and personal comfort for this game, which has given us so much.”
