Before this day/night ODI on Saturday (1st August), Adil Rashid was three wickets behind from the 150 ODI wickets. Playing his 102nd ODI, Rashid took the wickets of Kevin O’Brien (3), Harry Tector (28) and wicketkeeper-batsman Lorcan Tucker (21) and finished with the bowling figures of 10-0-34-3.
On the first ball of the 28th over of the first innings of that match, Rashid completed his 150 ODI wickets after Reece Topley successfully took a catch to dismiss the Irish middle-order batsman Tucker.

But Curtis Campher once again rescued the Irish batting and put some strong fight with some crucial late partnerships along with the lower-order batsmen. Campher’s 68 runs massively helped the Ireland team to manage the first innings total of 212/9 (50 overs).
Apart from Rashid, left-arm pacer David Willey (2/48) and right-arm pacer Saqib Mahmood (2/45) bagged two wickets each in that innings.
