The South African opener Aiden Markram has been ruled out of the third and final Test match against India at Ranchi. The stylish batsman has been ruled out due to an injury in his right wrist. Markram hasn’t been up to the mark.

On the other hand, Aiden Markram had impressed with his performances when India had toured South Africa in 2018. However, the flamboyant batsman failed to get going in the challenging Indian conditions. A lot was expected from the right-hander but he could not stand tall to the challenge of opening in Indian conditions.

Meanwhile, India has been dominated the series so far. The hosts had won the first Test match by a gargantuan margin of 203 runs and also continued their domination in the second Test match. Virat Kohli-led side won the second Test match by an innings and 137 runs. Thus, it has been one-way traffic in the series so far.
